Bulcs Holdings is an industry research partner with Queensland University of Technology (QUT). QUT Distinguished Professor Lidia Morawska will lead a new $5m project to reduce airborne infections through improved indoor air quality for better public health in new building systems.
The Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Advanced Building Systems Against Airborne Infection Transmission aims to reduce airborne infection transmission by improving indoor air quality while maintaining comfort and efficiency.

Training
Working together with ATRA (Above the Rest Academy), BULCS delivers one-on-one or group training workshops that aim to provide our students with necessary upskilling or specialisation in the restoration space.
Working together with various training institutes such as the IICRC, Wool Safe, Coach8, and CARSI, we create high quality hands-on, experienced based workshops that are specific to your industry needs. We provide this training in two locations – Melbourne and Brisbane.

Our Team
Ivi Sims has been a leader in the restoration, mould identification and remediation industry for over 20 years.
She is currently the Director of Building Environmental Wellness Group, member of the Board of Directors for the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and a committee member of several AIRAH Special Technical Groups.
Ivi sits on a variety of industry boards and currently is a contributing/voting member for the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) and the Victorian committee for the ATFA (Australasia Timber Flooring Association). She is also the editor for IAQ Magazine focusing on buildings, environment, wellness, and innovation in the IAQ industry.
As a co-founder of a female led business, Ivi understands the important role that women play in creating the industry of the future. With over 20 year’s experience in the IAQ space, she has seen IAQ grow into a vibrant industry and would love to support and inspire women to get involved and play a part in creating healthier environments for everyone.
Ilona Vidacs
Operations and Admin Manager
Ilona Vidacs works as our Operations & Admin manager.
As Operations and Admin manager, her role is to help to oversee all administrative functions of both our offices (Vic & QLD), ensuring the warehouse is operating smoothly and fluidly. This includes the coordination of incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring our OHS is in place and providing our customers with the correct product information and resources when requested.
She is the first point of contact for all inquiries, taking pride in ensuring all our communication with clients runs smoothly.
In the last 2 years, Ilona has helped to implement new operating procedures that have helped us improve our services for all our customers. With the recent data leaks and hacks, cyber security is at the forefront of all our minds, our customers can rest assured that BULCS works hard to manage and secure our IT systems so that our customer database is safe.
Working as a graphic designer for almost 20 years, Joko is responsible for all graphic design work for BULCS Holdings and subsidiaries.
Living in Bali, Joko is familiar with creative workers in arts and services industry. Starting his career in a small family-owned printing company, Joko quickly gained the experience and skills to work for larger, more iconic companies in many different fields. From Indographs, the largest printing company in Bali, Property Gallery, Villa & Yacht magazines, favorite Australian apparel, Elissa Coleman and Shakuhachi to international wedding organisers Bali Tie d’Knot and prestige boutique Bali Biasa Group, Joko has extensive experience across the creative arts and services industry.
Joko now works remotely with BULCS Holdings. Joining in 2019, he has contributed to the development of the company through marketing and brand identity with his graphic design and social media posts.
Sashaan is a seasoned professional with over fifteen years in sales management. With a proven track record of success and a passion for serving clients, Sashaan is a dynamic sales leader poised to drive results and exceed expectations in any endeavors she undertakes.
Throughout her career, Sashaan has demonstrated a keen ability to build lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and loyalty through her commitment to delivering exceptional service. Her proactive approach to understanding client requirements allows Sashaan to tailor solutions that exceed expectations and drive business growth.
As a Sales Manager, Sashaan thrives on challenges and is dedicated to continuously refining his skills and knowledge to stay ahead in a competitive market. She is known for her integrity, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to helping her teams succeed. Her strategic mindset, coupled with her strong communication skills, enables her to effectively lead sales teams and drive revenue generation.
Outside of work Sashaan has a passion for hiking, yoga and is renowned for her culinary expertise. Seamlessly managing the responsibilities of motherhood, Sashaan epitomises exceptional multitasking skills and serves as an inspiration to working mothers everywhere.
Bryn is the go-to guy for warehouse operations and repairs at Bulcs Holdings. With a knack for fixing things and optimizing logistics, he ensures smooth operations behind the scenes. As a valued team member, Bryn’s expertise keeps things running efficiently.
Mara is a dedicated team member at Bulcs Holdings, specializing in customer service and sales support. Graduated with a degree in Clinical Psychology and has years of experience in sales, recruitment, customer service and administrative roles. With her expertise and commitment to excellence, Mara ensures client satisfaction and drives business success.
